Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu | Welcome to Nepal

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu airport, a representative from Discover Altitude will pick you up and escort you to your hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu. After refreshment, in the afternoon you will start the Kathmandu valley tour, which includes Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple).

Kathmandu Durbar Square also known as Basantapur Durbar and Hanuman Dhoka Durbar is an ancient palace of the Kathmandu Kingdom standing from the 17th Century. There are numerous temples and Buddhist shrines and is one of the attractions for tourists.

You will be able to explore Taleju Temple, Kumari gar where the living goddesses Kumari reside, Kal Bhairav temple, Jagganath Temple with Kamasutra curving, Kasthamandap temple the oldest 12th-century temple, and many others.

Further heading towards Swayambhunath Temple, you will visit one of the legendary stupa dating back to more than 2000 years on the top of the hillock. There are different Hindu and Buddhist shrines coexisting together and hundreds of monkeys around.

Swyanbhu Nath is also a hill point to explore the Kathmandu valley and the Langtang Himalayan range. Descending through the 365 steep staircases you will drive back to your respective hotel overnight.

Day 2 Drive to Pokhara by Luxury Tourist Bus

After breakfast, you will drive to Pokhara by tourist bus. This will be a remarkable experience through the hill, river, village, and with the majestic view of the Himalayas. With frequent stops for short breaks and lunch, you will reach Pokhara.

After check-in and a short refreshment, you will visit Few Lake and enjoy boating around with the splendid view of hills and the Himalayas. The evening will be free time to explore the nightlife of Pokhara and back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3 Pokhara City Tour

This will be your majestic day starting early in the morning after breakfast. You will take a short drive to Peace Stupa on the top of a hillock. This will bless you with a glimpse of the Buddhist shrine and the majestic view of Pokhara valley along with a wide range of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges of Himalaya at its closest.

Further descending through your car, you will visit the Tibetan refugee camp, Gupteshow Mahadev Cave (A natural cave with a temple), Devi’s Fall, and Mountain Museum. All these sights are the glory of Pokhara and never to miss.

Evening you can explore the lakeside point and back to your respective hotel overnight.

Day 4 Back from Pokhara to Kathmandu

This will be your last day in Pokhara, after breakfast you will drive towards Kathmandu by tourist bus. This will be the same road that you followed from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu and checking in to the hotel, you will start a short afternoon tour to two different heritage sites of Kathmandu valley. This includes Boudhanath and Pashupatinath temples, this is a combo tour to Buddhist and Hindu shrines.

Boudhanath is one of the biggest stupas dating back to more than 2000 years, this is one of the centers for Buddhist pilgrimage and center for Tibetan Buddhist followers. You can visit some of the Buddhist monasteries and observe the ritual ceremonies.

Further, taking a short drive towards Pashupatinath temple, one of the holiest Hindu pilgrimage sites dating back to Satya Yuga. Evening you will be able to observe Aarati on the bank of the river Bagmati and the cremation ceremony going back-to-back together.

When you are done with the tour, you will drive back to your respective hotel in Thamel overnight and you can enjoy the nightlife of Thamel.
